Travel & Accommodation
Where to Stay
Mauritius offers a wide range of accommodation, from luxury beachfront resorts to boutique hotels and private villas. We recommend the north or west coast, which are known for calmer seas, beautiful sunsets, and easy access to restaurants and activities. If you would like to stay closer to the wedding location, we recommend staying within the beautiful grounds of Anahita on the East coast.
What to Do
There’s plenty to enjoy on the island, whether you’re looking to relax or explore. Popular activities include snorkelling and swimming in the lagoons, boat excursions, water activities, hiking in nature reserves and visiting waterfalls. We’ve marked some of our favourite spots and key attractions on the map to help you plan.
Getting Around
We recommend hiring a car to explore the island - driving is on the left, and journeys are generally short. If you don't feel comfortable driving, then taxis are your next best option.
